Annual Retreat 2023
The second annual retreat took place from October 2nd to October 6th, 2023 in Vrchlabi (Czech Republic) It was planned and organized by the doctoral researchers including a trip to the Dolomite caves of Bozkov, the Elbe spring and a scientific excursion to the Krkonoše National Parc. Progress discussions were also performed and the doctoral researchers used the time to write their publications. Both annual retreats offered a great opportunity for the doctoral researchers to exchange and extend their knowledge outside of their working environment.
Annual Retreat 2022
The first annual retreat planned by the doctoral researchers took place from September 25th till September 30th, 2022 in Angerberg, Austria. It was completely organized by the doctoral researchers including an excursion to the Isar with an external guide, a visit of the University of Innsbruck and writing time for a paper which will be published soon in Frontiers for Young Minds and presents the scientific work of the doctoral researchers for children and also writing time for their papers and doctoral thesis. Further, the doctoral researchers visited the “Top of Innsbruck” and some doctoral researchers saw snow for the first time in their lives.
